We are ZekerZon. We focus on service and maintenance for solar panels. Our company was founded in 2021, with the goal of optimizing green energy for residential buildings.
Our vision is ‘to generate energy locally, store energy locally, and consume energy ‘smartly’ locally.’ Our mission is to achieve this for single-family housing.
ZekerZon was founded in 2021 and officially launched in 2022. Prior to the establishment of ZekerZon, specialists from key professional sectors came together. One of the founders of ZekerZon gained experience in the traditional installation industry, grew an installation company, and has worked in management roles for several installation companies over the past years. Additionally, he has worked for Techniek Nederland (industry association) for a few years, which kept him close to the market and allowed him to observe the changing market needs. Another founder has built his career in wind energy and ran an inspection and maintenance company for several years. In addition to them, specialists from IT, accounting, and HR joined as co-founders of ZekerZon.
At its core, ZekerZon works with fixed teams to ensure quality and reliability. Our teams are structured so that everyone focuses on what they do best, supported by professional expertise. A team consists of a team leader, an electrician, an assistant installer, and a roofer. For every 12 installers, there is a project manager. The project manager ensures the proper completion of the work and serves as the point of contact for the customer.
ZekerZon has organized its business processes so that there is expertise and manpower for every aspect. We aim to establish a framework agreement with each partner to ensure the quality of the process and the work. This includes agreements on pricing, invoicing specifications, completion reports, aftercare, services, etc., as well as certifications and insurance for both the company and the installers. This allows us to guarantee the entire process.
In our field, ensuring the quality of work is the most important aspect. Quality and safety are the core principles within ZekerZon. This is reflected in our assignment policy, where the regional manager/project leader has level 4+ qualifications, the team leader (of the installation team) holds at least level 3, and the other installers have at least level 2. Additionally, all team members must possess VCA certification, and the team leader (and higher positions) must have VCA+ certification. As a standard, all work is carried out with our own (approved) tools and safety equipment. Our climbing materials, such as scaffolding and harnesses, are always certified. Furthermore, we are a member of Techniek Nederland and hold all the necessary insurance policies.
